This yarn is named Nymph, after the Tree Nymph Butterfly, due to the fact that Tencel is made from wood pulp. This machine washable sock weight yarn is made from 50% SW merino wool, and 50% Tencel. Each skein weighs 4.5 ounces and is 470 yards. Suggested U.S. needle size is #0-1 and knits 8-9 stitches per one inch.
